WebGL is off
This site needs your graphics card
The space in this site - the Swordfish, the flight between galaxies, the sky you build - is drawn by the graphics card, through WebGL. It is off in this browser, and without it those parts don't show up. The writing is still readable.
How to turn it on
- Open chrome://settings/system, turn on "Use graphics acceleration when available" and restart Chrome. In chrome://gpu, WebGL2 should read "Hardware accelerated".
- This Chrome only has WebGL 1: your graphics card is on its blocklist. Open chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist, choose "Enabled" and restart Chrome.
- Open edge://settings/system, turn on "Use graphics acceleration when available" and restart Edge.
- In Settings > General > Performance, uncheck "Use recommended performance settings" and check "Use hardware acceleration when available". If that is not enough, set webgl.disabled to false in about:config. Then restart Firefox.
- In Safari, under Settings > Advanced, check "Show features for web developers". Then, under Settings > Feature Flags, turn on "WebGL 2.0" and reopen Safari.
- Open Settings > Safari (or Settings > Apps > Safari) > Advanced > Feature Flags and turn on "WebGL 2.0". Then close and reopen the browser.
- Update Chrome and Android. If it stays like this, the phone's graphics card is on the blocklist: open chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist, choose "Enabled" and restart Chrome.
- Look for "hardware acceleration" in your browser settings, turn it on and restart. If there is no such option, up-to-date Chrome, Edge and Firefox all draw this site.
